Hey Hey!

I've been driving a Subaru OBS for the past four years. On my way to class one morning my motor ran itself dry leading to a blown crank bearing thanks to an unforeseen oil leak. After shopping around for a new block it seemed like the better choice to pick up another car rather than dropping a new motor in a car with 116K miles on it. Long story short I found a great deal on a very clean and babied 09 LX. I've always been a fan of Acura's looks but know little to nothing about the heart of the car/company. ATM I'm not looking to mod the car to heavily seeing that moving from a 2.5 four banger to a 3.5 V6 comes with some joy.

After picking up the new car I called a buddy to let him know what I found and to my surprise he said he has had three Acuras to date. He pointed me to this cite saying that this was the place to learn about any and all things Acura, so I'm hear to learn.

not too sure which car you have, I believe you have the 09 TL, but you wrote it as LX.
the 09 TL is a great car and hope it treats you better than the subie!!

 

Wow, I just had almost the same issue. 03 Outback with rod bearing going out. Looked for an RL and found a nice 06. So far, really happy. Love the power of the engine in comparison!
