In the past month I purchased a 2002 and 2004 TL as project cars. I have spent the past 15-years buying cheap cars with 3 wheels already in the salvage yard and seeing how many more miles I can nurse out of them. In this journey I have learned that cars are like people… They typically want to live, and will go a lot farther than you may have thought possible. It is exciting to find Acura’s fall into my low cost price range given the superior build quality.

I have been diligently searching Acurazine threads the past few weeks and figured it was time to join the community. I appreciate the practical advice and creative technical solutions that enable hands on owners to keep these Acura’s running. I have used what I have learned to get the 2002 back on the road, and truly love the car. I am amazed how a 24 year car can still have such a quiet, comfortable ride. The 2004 is a more complicated story, but that is a different post. I look forward to the adventure.
