Finding many problem in the electronics of my acura and I am finding out that if you have a can of electronic cleaner and a razor knife you would be amazed at whet you can fix. My horn stopped working and got out the service manuals and unplugged the horn relay and cleaned the contacts with cleaner and knife and horn works. oxidation on contacts just like working on computers for 30 years.

 

For the most part they are, especially obd1 computers like the p28, it has chips in it that are 8-12 pin, so putting a slot for a programmable chip isn't rocket science if you know how to solder
