Thanks guys, the owner got into a little texting while in traffic accident .. messed up the bumper skin and the hood.. that's the only thing cosmetically.. I also think the rack and pinion may be going bad because the steering is stiff when not moving (turning the wheeel to make a "k" turn).. powerstearing pump is clean and fluid is full so I'm assuming that the rack is my only other option

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the new purchase!

If you ever find yourself looking for something to do you should stop by our shop! We're located in Branford Connecticut, which is a little bit of a drive, but it's a good leg stretch for the car!

You can also see our online store here: Excelerate's Honda & Acura Store - Japanese Performance Specialist - Homepage

Good luck and happy modding!

The steering is supposed to be stiff at low speeds; that's the whole "feel" thing of a sporty car.

that's what I thought at first as well but it is like the power steering is non existent when the car is not moving (turning wheel while in the process of making a k turn) .. I've never had to use 2 hands to turn a steering wheel... maybe I need to find another owner and ask/see how tight their steering is
