Welcome to Acurazine. Congrats on the new ride. You own one of the sexiest cars on the road today, in my opinion. What other cars have you had previously, aside from the RC350? Were you considering any other vehicles before committing to the TLX Type S? Do you intend to further modify for more power?

Had a 2014 Lexus GS 350, 2012 Lexus IS250, '99 Honda Civic Si, and a 1992 Integra.

Was trying to get into a 2022 Lexus RCF. Just couldn't get a deal done with the dealer. Had been looking for quite a while. Aside from the RCF, nothing out at the moment really caught my eye. While driving home from work in that area, I spotted a TLX Type S. I could say, that caught my eye. Started doing a little research on it. Only found one with the exterior\interior color combo that I wanted. 3 days after Thanksgiving, had my sister drive me down to that dealer. Initially, they weren't letting anybody test drive a Type S (TLX or Integra). I test drove either a base or an ASPEC TLX (forgot which one it was). I made it clear when I first arrived, I was there to buy. No window shopper here. Sales girl maybe felt I was ready to walk. She went inside to talk to her manager, he agreed to let me test drive a Type S. Few hours later, I drove her home.

No further engine modification plans at the moment. I live in pesky California. They don't like engine mods =(

Was there a difference in terms of luxury and comfort upgrading from a GS350 to the TLX Type-S? I anticipate that in terms of handling and performance, there must be quite a big difference.

IMO, as far as comfort and luxury, I would have to go with the GS. Performance and handling wise, definitely the TLX.
