Good morning all.
I purchased a 2003 Acura TL-S to flip for $1,000, but after replacing the windshield, fixing the bumper, getting all the sap and pine needles off and removing about 10 yellow jacket nests, I've been driving it. I'm enjoying it so much that I just put snow tires on it an drove it 400 miles round trip this weekend. It's my first Acura, and I'm absolutely impressed with it. It has 260K on it and drives great. ZERO oil leaks, but I need to flush transmission fluid. I will post this elsewhere on this forum, but I'm thinking I must have made a mistake. After my trip, I figured gas mileage. Is it possible that I got 36.2 MPG in this? I wasn't driving easy. Over a pass, 75 to 80 on the freeway. 183 miles to Portland on 5 gallons of premium fuel. Can this be right? If this is legit, this is my new daily. I have been only getting about 25 MPG in city driving.
Thanks for letting me learn on the forums!

Welcome, Dave! That's a great looking car for $1,000.
I wouldn't doubt the MPG - I got that a few times in my 2004 TL which had the same engine. Just be gentle with it and it's very economical!
