New here and new to Acura
New 2018 RDX Advanced owner here.
This is my first time ever purchasing an Acura or a Honda. I've been a loyal Toyota and Lexus owner all my life. It was time for a new vehicle and I was really leaning towards a 4Runner but the power was not there and the interior is dated. Looked seriously into the Lexus GL470 (basically a 4Runner) since it had a V8, but with all the options I wanted I didn't want to spend 63k.
Also, seriously considered an Audi Q5. Opted for a new RDX based on the low cost of ownership, the decent reputation for reliability of Honda (it's not that of Toyota but I'm alright with that), and the price for the options I wanted.
