Own 2003 tl s and 12 mdx. Been around honda/acura products since 1983, starting with motorcycle

First 3 replaced under factory warranty. Fourth was customer pay and going strong. Has around 130k and 12 or 13 years. Rebuilt by Joe's transmission in Hamilton nj. Engine and trans strong at 250k miles, dealer maintained since new

Yikes on 3 warranty trannys. Glad to hear the one you paid for is holding up. The 2G trannys are affectionately called “glass.”

I have been relatively lucky with the trannys, but would agree. We had the TC replaced twice on our 07 MDX.

Yea it's a crap shoot. I've replaced them and they came back within a month slipping. Sucks for customer and then they're mad with me when I'm just installing what the dealer gave me.
