New Acura owner
First Acura ever.
$600.
186k miles
93 Acura Legend L sedan.
Let me introduce myself. Jonathan, 20, from New Mexico, Lexus is my focus, but Ill hop off the bandwagon every now an again, like now. Have an IS350.
Glad to be apart of the community. This was a trade in at the dealership and I thought why not. Drove home with no issue.
Here are some photos. Before I purchased.
With most of the trash removed...right before an entire detail (everything comes OUT!)
After removing mostly everything. Found just over 11 bucks in change.
After being extensively cleaned. An entire day and it wasn't enough, mostly due to my pressure washer not starting, so I had to make do with what I have. I will have to retry at a better date when my washer decides to work.
This is just the start. Motor mounts, and VSS rebuild kit are on the way. Changed the old, fixed the cupholder, and replaced the tire (that was missing an entire layer, oddly enough)
Here is a shot of the timing belt. How does it look? It looks a little shiny, but not too shabby at all.
Look forward to many new adventures with this bucket of barf, but as long as you love the car, its all worth doing.

Me: $600? Damn. Not ba-- *sees pictures* "oh, shit! WTF?!? That's a meth lab".
But, sounds like you know what you've gotten yourself into.
Good luck with whatever you got planned.
Also, what's up NM! That's a nice looking spread you've got there. Northern NM?

At 23 years old and 186k miles, it should be about ready for its 4th timing belt based on age.. (7 years). I highly doubt it is so on the safe side I would
Interesting to see it's transformation. How was the transmission on that generation
