NC- 2008 TSX White
Hello,
I am a new member on the forum. Just bought a 2008 Acura TSX Base, AT, with 107k miles about 2 months ago. Car has been great but I have taken care of issues that have come up. These issues were new front rotors, calipers, pads, and stainless steel lines. I have also put new alternator, new belt, and new belt tensioner pulley. And of course an oil change within a week of buying it.
Is there anything I need to be on the lookout for concerning this car. Like recalls, common things to upgrade, ECU problems, transmission upgrades, etc.?
I look forward to learning more about this car and daily driving it for a very long time.

I had a navi 06 TSX with Aspec. Purchased new it new and handed it down to the kid for his first H.S. & college car starting in 2014. It was totaled at +176,000 miles because of a red light runner in 2019. It was in excellent running condition and would be on the road today if it wasn't totaled. I had normal wear/tear issues like 2 alternators, A/C compressor, P/S pump leak, replaced P/S rack, front passenger upper control arm, aftermarket endlinks/rear adjustable camber kit (lowered with Aspec suspension). I would double-check the spare donut tire because most need to be replaced before the 10 year mark. TPMS sensors batteries can start to go out around +/- 10 years if original. I would also do an alignment to double check normal wear/tear of suspension parts (I had lifetime alignment with Firestone).

The things that made me fall on the TSX as my next car was mainly the Honda reliability. I had experience doing somewhat major engine work with the Altima and did NOT want to do that anytime soon on the next car. As I have learned more about the TSX, I have grown a big fondness for this car and want to upgrade it in many ways.

Thank you for the maintenance suggestions.
