Just joined this forum although I am a second-time Acura owner, the RDX both times. I have a red 2008 RDX with tech. It has lasted more than 150,000 miles. I went nine years without a repair bill other than normal maintenance, new tires and brakes, etc. Have had only two bigger repair bills in the last three years, both under $2,000. My 2008 RDX has served me well, and believe me, I've driven it hard. The stereo is still hard to beat.
Anyway, I kept my 2008 and have added a 2021 RDX PMC. My attraction to the PMC wasn't only cosmetic. I like the fact that it comes with all of the tech packages including the Advanced package. I had to have the Advanced package, too. I'm spoiled. I traded my 2017 Jaguar F-Pace S-First Edition (loved that car--nothing like a 380HP V6) for the PMC. I gotta have tech. The 2021 RDX is slower than my Jag but surprisingly just as long. In fact it is longer--186.7 inches vs. 186.3 inches. Unfortunately, it is not quite as wide, but I'm glad to be back. After Lexus and Jaguar, I'm back to Acura with my second RDX.
Here are pics of my new PMC next to my trade-in. The Jag was significantly more expensive when new than the RDX, so my top-off for the RDX wasn't very much. My Jag had only 38K miles after almost five years (a 2017 model purchased in 2016). The orange is mesmerizing!
Thank you! Glad to be here. I know the RDX has SH-AWD, but I'm reluctant to mess it up in the snow and salt. It's a garage queen until the crappy weather passes. I'll drive my 2008 RDX in the nasty weather.

To each their own. A car is constantly depreciating whether it's being driven or not.
My understanding is that a PMC car is put together differently than other factory cars. Wouldn't you want to know if your PMC has any issues?

I took it to a couple of supermarkets today (neither store had everything I wanted). Not much else to do or places to go, with the pandemic and the fact I just retired from the corporate world.

Tough time to retire.
When I got my TLX, I created a "virtual commute" where I would take a break from the house about 2 or 3 days a week to drive around for about 20 minutes and listen to my music from the awesome ELS system!
No those are brakes on that Jag! Look at the size of the rotors!! Just posted about someone recommending after market brakes to boost stopping power. RDX brakes really suck!
