So I just purchased an 05 TL and was wanting to know what problems to look out for. It has 170,000 miles. And was well taken care of thankfully. The only issues I can tell off the get go are power steering pump, alignment, and brake rotors.

 

If it is an automatic, change the ATF early and often, the pressure sensors (at least that's what I believe they are called) should also be changed.
