Konichiwa, welcome to Acurazine! So, your car had an engine swap with a K20A, and the previous owner shaved and tucked the engine bay? I'm not familiar with the JDM cars, and with what power plants they have.

How does the car feel and drive?

Thank your for your reply!
Yes, previous owner shaved and tucked the engine bay. This motor came from CL7 Accord Euro-R. This exterior the same as Acura TSX.

Unfortunately, i drove very few distance and stopped because alternater did not generate electricity after one hour from received a car...

After fix my car i'll write review in this thread;(

This is the power adder I have under the hood of mine.
It's fun!

Thank you for your reply.
I didn't know about PCS.
Sadly, i don't have any way to know who shipped this car from U.S. so this stuff will be in mystery forever....

A guy who know who make this car tell me his instagram account on twitter so i attempt to contact.
From this information this convert took place in Japan.

Your power adder is very cool! And I,this sound looks so nice I adore it!

P56, I'm just curious.
Since your car is a model year 2001, it was originally factory equipped with an automatic 5 speed transmission.
Its center console unit assembly would have looked like the picture below that includes the automatic trans. shifter assembly configuration.
The foot operated parking brake lever assembly would be located on the left lower driver side under the dash:

The 2003 CL-S six speed was only built in mid year 02-03 and its center console unit assembly would look like the picture below that includes
the manual transmission shifter assembly configuration with the hand operated parking brake lever relocated on the center console.
The 'red' colored front driver console garnish assembly was painted by me, many years ago, because I got tired of the factory 'burle wood'
seen on the upper right door garnish.

How was your driver's & center console configured, by the previous owner, from an automatic set-up to a manual system
when the K20A swap was performed??

Can you provide a picture for comparison?

Thanks in advance.

I'd love to learn the history of this car and how it ended up in Japan. I'll be monitoring this thread.

I believe I read @619rcr mentioning, somewhere on the forum, that he was once stationed in Japan?
He might be able to shed some light on the possibility of a former 'active duty' person bringing their car over during their tour.

Thank you for your reply.
This is driver's seat so it seems parking brake was replaced to 03 location with some 03 consoles.
I don't know which specific point is not original 01 and replaced 03 elements but i don't feel strange to use.

P56, thanks for the interior picture.
It appears that whomever performed the 6MT 'swap' paid attention to detail.
I see the 6MT Type-S gauge cluster, heated seat switch (yellow arrow) above the parking brake lever, cupholder with slider assembly, front console panel & shifter with boot assembly.
The only thing left, that I can see, original to the automatic configuration is the switch next to the 'moon roof' switch. That component looks like the VSA Off & Cruise switch that came with the automatic trans. cars.

If the manufacturers driver side door jam VIN sticker is still present that would confirm month / year of the car's build.
