Howdy

Hey there, just bought a used 2004 TL with the A-spec kit.
330***km on the body, (but looks surprisingly clean under the car, parked in underground parking its whole life)
The engine was swapped and new clutch by the previous owner last year and the new engine has roughly 150'000km on it.

The car was bought to give my son and I something to tinker on and learn some basic mechanics on before he is able to drive. We were originally looking at civics and mazda 3s but this Acura caught my eye for a bit more $ but I feel like these are totally slept on after reading reviews and comparing how far my money went with this compared to a civic. Very excited to learn about these cars and progress my basic mechanical knowledge and have a project with the son!

The rear sway bar looks quite rusted and we are looking at the Progress group rear sway bar as an early project. I've also read the best bang for buck upgrade is the J pipe replacement, so we will start saving our pennies and likely scoop up an RV6. For now though I plan on just using as a daily and making sure the car doesn't implode before throwing money at mods. The wheels definitely need to be balanced but otherwise the engine feels zippy. My two previous "fun" cars were an over boosted 1.8turbo Jetta and later a JDM twin turbo Legacy wagon. I do miss the AWD but this car handles surprisingly well. Excited to be a part of the community!
