Hooker needs help!

long time fan of Acura Zine but only recently a member. I have a 2002 TL type S 3.2 named Hooker and I need some help please. We broke down on the interstate yesterday, cruising about 80mph and she started surging randomly. Pulled over into a rest area and let her rest a minute, she started up fine but revs herself between 1 and 2 rpm she would then stall when I got her in gear. After a few attempts and a lot of waiting for the revving to stop she settled down enough to drive over to the tow truck. A few days before she stuttered going uphill, not a tall or steep hill by any means but she was rough and sluggish getting up it, jolting almost. I'm sure there is a thread that's already on this site that I just haven't looked hard enough for. Ive read through a lot and can't seem to pinpoint what's wrong. Within the last year and a half the coils and plugs have been replaced, the throttle body cleaned, new EGR, new filter, fuel pump relay replaced. A number of things. My real issue is she isn't linking up to the scanners. Several code readers have given the 'link error' or 'communication error'. Tried the reset and relearn, and still can't get any of them to read. I am at a loss! Has anyone else had this issue? Any luck?

I love your name. It demands attention.
I hope toyboy is right, because he usually is.

Replaced the IACV and seems there's even more issues. I have coolant leaking and can't figure out from where exactly. It's not the IACV but it's somewhere around there, double checked hoses and vacs and no leaks that can be seen or found so far but she is leaking through into my cold air intake and wouldn't turn over at all now. Have tried multiple scanners and still getting the link error or communication error. Pulled the plugs to check if water or coolant had gotten to them they seem fine, nothing has leaked into oil. There is a random clicking when I tried to turn her over the first time, almost like a relay trying to reset. It sounds like it's coming from under the steering column but it's actually under the hood. Hard to explain the location. Tomorrow will try to take everything apart for a third time and see if anything is amiss. I'm 2 hours from the closest Acura dealer and to be honest I really don't trust them, had issues in the past with them lying and way overcharging. Long story short $1400 for new throttle body and egr when all they did was just clean my old one. There's a Honda dealer 40 mins away but when I called they told me Acura wasn't Honda and I said sure bye bye now. I bought this car from an Acura mechanic that put mods and different things and over the past few years I've replaced those items with factory parts because the mods kept breaking. Any thoughts on where this coolant is coming from? Or next step to try? Thanks!

For odd coolant leaks, looks back on the firewall...center, behind the engine ()...there's this weird pin and spring assembly my tech buddy told me fails a lot and leaks.

Checked all the hoses and maybe we are missing something. Can't find where it's leaking, it seems to be a mix of coolant, water and oil. Still won't link to a scanner or anything. Warped head? Cracked? I don't know. She turns on but won't fire and the plugs are firing. It's also like she isn't getting any fuel. Don't know what to do.
