Hey Alex, the K-series is pretty much reliable just as it stands!
Are you looking to boost it!?

Hello!
I have right now 160k miles on it. Already ordered new head with less then 50k. I will check it and maybe put ferrea ex valves and springs. Or original, if they are as good. Also will see what is the condition of pistons and rods.
looking to find out what else i can do to it, before reassembling the engine.

so this is a swap???
i mean; you can go balls to walls and send the block off to a company that will reinforce the cooling jackets, get aluminium rods, pistons, etc.etc.
send the head off to get the head machined for the new pistons, etc.etc.etc.

all up to you my man.

the k-series is capable of 1000-1200hp. built block, built head, turbo.
all up to you.
