Hello from Calgary- 08 type s
Hey Everyone,
My name is Hanoke, living in Calgary,Alberta. Owned a 04 TSX for the last 3 years, but wanted more power and got a crazy good deal on a 08 type S!
Currently loving it, minus the gas mileage, and random check engine light i keep getting ... but i'll post that in another thread.
Glad to be here!

that check engine light is not random lol. run the codes and figure out what's causing it, probably an 02 sensor.
also, is your car an auto or manual? mileage etc.......POST PICS

Welcome to the 3G TL Club.
I'm curious about your fuel economy; how much worse is it than your TSX?

Hmmm, 450 kilometers per tank sounds a bit low; even in the winter time I typically get another 100+ kilometers on a tank and have gotten as high as 750 kilometers on a single tank. That said, you have a larger/more powerful engine than I do and said engine is saddled with an automatic transmission and an extra 90 kilograms of weight.
FWIW, while I abhor throwing parts at a problem, if other Automatic Type-S owners chime in here and support the thought your fuel economy is low, changing the upstream O2 sensors (OEM or Denso, do NOT use Bosch sensors) often cures such issues.
