Hey! Figured I'd introduce myself and get a few basic questions out of the way. I'm Lauren and I finally, finally got rid of the Fiesta and upgraded to a 2008 TL with ~71k miles on it (automatic). Anyway, are there any common issues I should expect? Any initial advice would be fantastic! Thank you!

 

Welcome and congrats! Use the search engine to check on common issues with the 3G TL. For starters, look for the HFL (Hands Free Link) unit's parasitic drain on the battery and how to disconnect it.

Also, threads on the Timing Belt, Water Pump, etc.
