I got a 99 TL.
Lots of miles.
I can leave it as it is and drive a hoopty, or fix it up.
It is my backup and road trip car, for my F150 Lightning.
So far I've just been cleaning it.
I replaced the wiper transmission.
I got an alignment, thankfully the front is fine, but the rear is kaput. I ordered and as soon as it is warm enough the upper and lower rear "adjustable" ball arm and control arm.
It needs a set of tires. I like the OEM wheels, but they have surface corrosion. So I think just a set of new rims vs OEMs. Funny how a set of rims is less than a set of refurbished OEMs.
I'm the 3rd owner. The 1st owner wrenched on it all its life and before washing his hands after doing about 700 oil changes test drove it.
So, a new steering wheel cover is on the way. (This is after about an hour of using mechanic hand wash soap directly on the steering wheel)
So far my favorite thing about the car is there are no screens and settings to mess with. I love how the radio and climate controls are at the exact perfect arms length away. The only "setting" is the trip odometer and it is just glorious.
