So, I'm not a 'new' member but I don't think I ever did one of these when I first had my 2006 TL, so I figured this would be the best time.

So let's do a quick backstory:

10-13-2010 - Went to look at/purchase WDP Type-S, but was sold before I could look. *Why does this matter? It ties into this, trust me.
10-14-2010 - Purchased my UA6 Anthracite TL.Fell in total love with the car.
10-19-2010 - Joined Acurazine and awed at all the beautiful work
sometime after that - ended up with the below:


Now sometime in 2013 I had an idea that would end up causing me an incredibly painful and miserable 3 years: I traded in my love for a 2011 VW Jetta TDi.

Without going into 3 years worth of it, I'm going to just say - it. was. HELL.
Good news: VW is buying it back and providing me with an extra lil refund on top. Great.
Bad News: Not til (maybe) October.

Needless to say, the loan is still in my name.*

8-10-2016 11:30PM - Find myself a 07 WDP TL Type-S online. Inquire. Alot. Everywhere I can find to send an email.
8-11-2016 11AM - Show my best friend the car, he's a major bro about it and helps me slap a deposit on it. Apply for loan.
8-12-2016 - Get approved and run around screaming.*
8-13-2016 - Drive down to H-town and sign for my new car.

Now, why all the stars and excitment over a Type-S?
#1. Because this was destiny. I lost my first type-s. I betrayed the TL I had. Suffered for it. And ended up with my Type-S.
#2. It was a wild shot I'd get approved because of that damn Jetta.
#3. This is my dream car. I've put so much thought into this car it's scary. Down to things like, I like saving my seat info to Driver 2 because from the drivers perspective, it's the first option coming from dash to driver. I don't mean for my brevity to mask my pure love for this car.
#4. Did I mention the mileage?
