Hello everyone, thank you allowing me to join this forum. I am deeply concern about the ongoing paint issues with many Honda/Acura models with paint peeling off on front windshield and back window areas. I have spoken with the Honda Case manager today regarding the issue with my 2016 Acura iLX paint and she said that there was not enough complaint going on for Honda to issue a bulletin or recall on this problem yet. So I would like to let everyone who are dealing with this issue to contact your local dealer and let them know so that there will be enough complaint so they will be forced to release a recall bulletin on this issue. I have seen many complaint online regarding paint peeling off on MDX and other models including iLX's but I was told that Honda Co. does not monitor the people's post online but instead base their judgement on the number of car owners complaining at their dealerships. Please let everyone know so we can have our car paint problem fixed. Thanks again.

 

Honda is not going back to small paint issues backtracking to 2016 ILX, they have 2021+ transfer cases blowing up on tlx/mdx and they don't care lol, took them 10 years to issue a recall for 3.5 engines bro keep your hopes at bay and fix the paint at a shop before it gets worse.
