Repair shops in MA

Sup fellow aziners, i am looking to find a quality shop in the Framingham/Natick area to possibly have my clutch replaced.

I was quoted a price of 1500-1800 from the dealership and wanted to at least explore other options before handing them my Visa card.

please let me know of any shops that you trust in our area!

damn. eff that.

there's plenty of people who have changed out their own clutches around here. i'd try to get the help of a knowledgeable member and do it with them. unless it's simply an issue of time and needing it done asap.

good luck.

yeah, time is a factor, willing to pay for it to be done, just rather not pay an arm and a leg!

Try Master Mechanics in Framingham. They have great reputation when it comes to Japanese cars

Worth a call, Bob's Auto, Marlborough, (508) 485-9092, recommended to me by a friend in the autobody biz.
I'm under warranty so I go to the dealership. But when my Ram had a bad wheel bearing and a ABS light going off, he told me straight on the phone up-front they were most likely the same thing. He just had a motocross bike accident, but they offered me rides if I needed them, stayed late for me, and saved the bad parts to show me (without me asking).
Only been there once, so not real track record, but he could have easily taken me for a hundreds more, but he didn't. Seemed like honest guy.
