Mid-state CT Mechanic?
Looking for an all-around mechanic, outside of Honda/Acura dealership preferably to save a little money. Side work is fine.
Issue right now is pulsing front brakes, pads and rotors are new (ish). Would like an assessment of what’s going on at a minimum without the usual dealership line about how it needs unnecessary services that will total $1,000 plus.
I’ve had a couple of guys recommended to me that work out of their house, work at a friend’s shop, etc. and they’ve flaked.

Still looking to see if I can find someone that will have access to the various tools and such to turn rotors (if necessary - they are fairly new and should be able to be put on a lathe if something is a little out of true) and verify that the calipers are working properly. If anything is found regarding heavy wear or warping on the front brakes, I'm going to need to know details so I can pursue parts replacement under warranty (they aren't that old).
