No need to worry about me or anyone I would choose to bring. We all act like adults (most are 30+) and love our cars. Plus we chill at that park once a week. People just need to be respectful. Trust me you wont have to ask anyone to leave... If people start acting up and making it hot the boyz will say it for you. They have a huge police force in Stamford, they even got special "park police". Those guys have nothing better to do.

I'm all for a good time, trust. I am really excited about this. Knowing this meet is coming up is helping me to finish up my mods that have taken far too long. I really needed an excuse. I have to represent for the 2nd Gen's. Should be fun!

Thank you! I don't have any pics yet since the dealership didn't detail the outside?? There's still some wax on the paint, so I'll probably wash/clay/wax tonight or tomorrow. Its a 2006 6spd, no nav, silver. Since I'm so new and coming from the BMW world, I'd say TiSilver which is completely irrelevant here!

I still have the BMW, but I'm moving out of those forums mostly because when it comes to DIY's and whatnot they have the "pay to play" attitude.

I'm looking at the short throw shifter as my first "mod", any other suggestions??

If your car is an 06 it is called ASM, (Alabaster Silver Metallic)
the 04 and 05 TL's that are silver are called SSM (Silver Satin Metaillic) but we like to call it Super Sexy Metallic because we are a bit silly here!

there is a TON of stuff you can do with your TL. Spend some time looking around here, you will be broke in no time

Thanks! I'm really enjoying the car. The only thing I'm still getting used to is the torque steer, (still used to rwd). Other than that, I love it.

Anyway, DROP IT!!! you dont have to slam it, just get rid of some of that wheel gap. and yes the a-spec is the body kit for the TL made by Acura. IMO it is a neccessity

Congrats on the pickup, in my opinion a short shifter should be one of the first mods done on a car with a manual trans.

To answer your question, the ASPEC lip kit is just a lip kit that replaces the stock side skirts, and adds lip spoilers to the front and rear bumpers.

If you're looking for a good drop without sacrificing much ride quality, I would suggest the Neuspeed Super Cup Kit with the Neuspeed sport springs. Will give you 4 Neuspeed/Koni struts with 5 adjustable spring perches and adjustable dampening, and 4 of the Neuspeed Sport Spring that will drop you 1.7R/1.8F if I remember correctly.

If you want a REALLY nice drop.....H&R Race Springs are the way to go. That's what I have and I'm about 2.3F/2.1R, but the ride is stiff as shit, I like it though......

ummm, yea the zkw's are headlight lenses. Alot of the members here get the replica ones. Ill link you a thread with info on these and the headlights.

As far as the headlights go a lot of members "clear" them. Basically this is just opening up the headlight and removing the plastic amber piece.
You can also paint the inside of the light black which will give you a different look, lots of people clear and black their lights, that is a VERY popular mod.
