Hey guys- I was thinking about getting a CAI on my 03 TL NBP. Just wanted to hear if anyone in New England has had any problems with this, some people were telling me not to get it cuz it can suck water into the engine and we do get alot of rain and snow up here.

Let me know your experience and what kind of CAI (with price if possible) you guys have. Wanted to get one this summer.

I had AEM CAI on for 4yrs then switched to a Comptech Icebox cause it was a bit quieter. I had no issues with either. If you dont want balls out loud go with the Icebox its worth every penny. If you need help installing it im in wallingford and I can give you a hand. We can do it in about a half an hour the hardest part is getting the bumper off and thats cake

 

2 Years on my RSX-S, almost a full year on my 08 STi and about 6 months on my 3G. Haven't run into any kind of issue on any of them. I can stop by to lend a hand too or provide Union style work and stand there and asses the work. lol

Do you know any good roads up by you, nice back road twisties that you take your s2k out on?

 

I have an AEM and have had no issues whatsoever. Just be conscious of where your filter is and if you DO have to drive thru a big puddle keep your foot off the gas.
