hey guys i got a JBLGTO601.1 amp and a L5 12" and i cant figure out why it keeps blowing, the gain was at the lowest, freq was sorta high and the volume was at 33ish out of 40. the amp didnt go into protect. i really cant figure out why it blew.

please help! really dont wanna put the new one in til i figure out the problem

 

Did you wire it up correctly? Is it grounded properly?

 

wait, what blew? the fuse or the amp?

If its the fuse, check the voice coil in your sub

 

I ended up just buying a 750.1 kicker amp off my friend it works perfect out im guessin my jbl one was the problem thanks for your feedback

 

good to see it workin, i would personally recommend a Rockford Fosgate Amp, always does the job right, only thing i will run

 

yea i got 5 3/4 door speakers that are rockford fosgate n i love em im thinkin of replacing all the speakers with rockford including hookin em up to a 4 chan maybe

 

My boy hooked his front and rear speakers to his amp and his car is loud!

It is clear as hell too!

He bought everything at Walmart of all places!!!!!!!
