I want to, but I'm not 100% sure yet. Gotta figure out the vacation schedule first.

It's probably cheaper for you to go to the USGP, I've heard of package deals with bus transportation for like 400 including hotel and sat/sun tickekts.

Thats not bad, but I have somewhere to stay in Montreal for free. So,....ticket ($385 plus tax for three days) and food/entertainment are pretty much all I pay for. Plus its Montreal, so no boarder crap, and its a nice drive.

The H section by turn 1 is a great spot. You can see 6 turns from there and almost all the passing/crashing is done at turn 1.

Ive tried a few places out and i prefer H

Cool, sounds good.

Are you guys going for 3 days or just the race day? What's the going rate for hotels in the area?

Agree, I sit there for all practices and qualy, sit directly across from the podium in the paddock penthouse since all my friends sit there.

This will make my 8th USGP at Indy, my 16th USGP and my 29th GP but Indy is my favorite of all due to the huge number of friends I have that go each year, though last year Canada was excellent watching MS overtake Kimi for 2nd right in front of me!

Infield is great at Indy except you won't have a clue as to what's going on w/o some electronic help. I'm giving this thing a whirl w/ Westy @ Cdn. GP this weekend at his suggestion:

http://www.kangaroo.tv/F1/index.html

There's a demo on that site somewhere. I'll write a review upon return or maybe from Montreal. Stay tuned
