Yup, Thursday FP 1 & 2 in Monaco!
Saturday our tickets are at will call and we will be in the Tabac grandstand facing the harbor, yachts and Sunday I'm going to score some seats in a balcony somewhere, haven't decided yet.

We'll be in "T" right across from the pits and just before Le Rascasse.
Here's the view from that grandstand:

You'll get plenty of updates . . . stay tuned! I've dreamt of going to Monaco since I was a kid.

Well, I did a lot of searching, reviewing, and cost-comparing and am pulling the trigger on this view:
So, I won't be getting sucker punched by Hulkenberg after all as this is the Midi Terrace at the Hotel Hermitage overlooking the run up from Ste. Devote to Casino Square. I cannot freaking WAIT!!!

Off to Monaco via train from Nice. This should be interesting, it's overcast and rain is lingering around. If it's wet and so far calling for a dry forecast, I wonder if the cars will even hit the track for practice this morning. If not, Mrs. is gonna be pissed!!

If you get a chance check out "Old City Nice", the older original Nice near the center. Really cool place to walk around, alot of cafes, bakeries, and other shops.
Been two decades since I was there, but it stuck in my memory as one of the coolest places next to Monza, Italy

lots and lots of yachts
Nico comes out and shakes Lauda's hand (after running up and down the stairs next to Hamilton's garage about a dozen times)
Jesse waves hello
this car does NOT sound good in person.

Tabac!
Ricciardo getting after it FP3
Renault 3.5 that crashed out of quail right before we got there
Charlie Whiting inspecting the repairs made to the Armco post-crash
Kimi!
through the swimming pool complex
Grandstand K, section 8, Row J. I think the seats to get are the ones in the background-that's Section 9 of Grandstand K. They have an awesome view there down the track.
