CBS stands for " Can't Broadcast SH*T

CART race coverage by CBS yesterday was an all new low. First they delayed it from live at 10 a.m. west coast til 1:30. Then they don't start the tape delay until 1:45 and when they do they begin on lap 17 Then they jammed a ton of commercials into the remaining hour or so and eliminated a few more laps while they were at it. Finally, in a race that decided the championship, they had 2 minutes to interview and wrap up. Total B.S. !!

Yeah, it was pretty pathetic coverage...the worst I've seen on a CART race all year. It seems every time they cut away to a commercial something happened on track and they didn't even have a replay.

I was so disgusted I only watched the first hour on tape and then gave up.

I missed it b/c I was on the road but the replay coverage I did see showed some shit camera angles. Now you know why cbs doesn't broadcast these races more often!

Well, it was a shit track!

It was still fun, but I'm really glad I wasn't driving on it. Especially in the ALMS - trying to pass the slower cars in a 975 must have been a trip. The run from 2 to 3 and 3A was barely wide enough for two cars at regular street traffic speeds.

I agree, it was the worst " track " they ran on all year. But, i give them credit for being in Miami, and next year will see an all new layout. It was WAY too tight.
