Can't RBR keep its stupid mouth shut?!

After protracted efforts to ensure Webbo he's geting equal treatment within the team, there's no designation with Seb being #1, etc., this story comes out:

A senior Red Bull engineer has revealed that Mark Webber didn't like the new front wing when it was originally fitted to his car at Silverstone.

The right wing gave Red Bull's bosses plenty of headaches at the British Grand Prix after Webber hit out at the team for taking the new bodywork off his RB6 to put on team-mate Sebastian Vettel's car prior to qualifying.

Team principal Christian Horner insisted after the race that the wing change "was purely a technical decision" which he discussed with technical chief Adrian Newey.

An unnamed Red Bull source has shed some more light on the issue, telling Finland's Turun Sanomat that Webber didn't think the new wing made a big difference.

"I am very surprised by Mark's outburst. When he used the new front wing he complained that it didn't work much better than the old one. Mark didn't have a good feeling about the wing.

"However, when the team had only one left, Mark was desperate to get it despite the fact that he didn't care about it when we had two new wings.

"Unlike Mark, Sebastian was happy with the new wing right from the start. We believe that the team management's decision was reasoned and logical."
Time to STFU

As I've said before: F1, a kindergarten for millionaires.

BTW, you know those promotional videos that that the team releases before each race that show Webber driving the upcoming track in the RBR simulator? At least two of the tracks used in those videos are created by members of the rFactor racing sim community and being used by RBR for promotional purposes without permission of track's creator.

Webber's a hypocrite. He's always mouthing off in drivers meetings on the importance of safety, but he's usually one of the 'dirtier' drivers.

Isn't he the head of the GPDA? Talk about setting a bad example sometimes.

Interesting....interesting...

I have been pretty critical of Webber since the incident in Turkey but really started to dislike him when he forced Vettel off the track in England. I know that you could argue back and forth whose fault it was in Turkey but from the replays I can clearly see Webber turning into Vettel after he was already passed. Webber may just cost Vettel the championship as well as the constructor's championship for Red Bull.

Hmmm, I think maybe you and Seb are the only ones who say Webbo turned into him in Turkey.

I watched the replay a few more times and I guess I can say that Vettel is at fault. From the cockpit shot it looks like he thought he was clear of Webber and that he would move to make room for Vettel. And that's when he looses control....

Meh. It makes for better racing when there's drama.
