I went to Long Beach to watch the ALMS... It was really exciting today. Bummer that Aston Martin didn't show up...
Well anyways...

Acura has virtually no competition in ALMS, just like Audi P1 for the past couple years. Hopefully, Acura will spent this year in ALMS as a training ground, and then move on to Le Mans next season, which will be more exciting.

Nice to see de Ferran finally win Long Beach, although it was a bad call by IMSA that dropped the Highcroft car to second on the pit stop.

I was watching the race on and off, what was the supposed infraction they held the Highcroft car for?

supposedly the one of the Highcroft fuel guys didnt have on approved helmet, but then another IMSA official confirmed the helmet was fine. Thanks IMSA, you cost Highcroft the race, had it not ended in caution, Brabham was on pace to catch DeFerran. He had erased a 19 second lead to 6 seconds. Oh well, glad to see Acura doing well and GDF finally win at Long Beach, but I love the Highcroft team!

Seriously..... I thought for sure Highcroft was going to win! They set the record for the quickest lap time during qualifying... dropping a second after second each lap time! It was amazing!!

They were hauling ass the whole race... I really wish they would have gotten first though.... they deserved it!!
