For some reason my wife is never too happy on F1 Sunday mornings when I have a cold one at about 7:30 am.

Onto more productive conversation... saw the qualifying this morning. No real surprises except for Alonso. As mentioned before, I'm a huge Kimi fan, not Ferrari, so at least I was glad to see him up front.

The speed is still not there, but somehow Button managed a good finish. Still a lot of work to do. However, it's a huge improvement from last year.

Looks like Heikki to a pretty good shot to the head. Saw some pics post remove from the tire barrier... reminded me of Kubica's car. I just can't believe that Heikki only got a concussion. The bottom of the nose was gone. He had to have gravel in his shoes.

That's certainly part of it, but he did well to recover after the safety car ruined his pit strategy.

But Button has to be given credit for bringing the car safely to the checkered flag. Barrichello didn't.

Pit strategy is something that Ross Brawn is particularly good at, as been demonstrated again and again when he was with the Ferrari team. Honda is now in good hand. Just more speed and more luck.

Anyone figure out what the holes in the top of the Ferrari nose does? I think it is venting for the driver since they often times have the battery near them. I think Ferrari runs their ECU in one of the side pods for venting.
