2006 MotoGP
sorry if this is a duplicate thread... I could not find it when I searched for it.
ANYWAY.... Any MotoGP fans out there?
Does any think that 'The Doctor', Valentino Rossi will finally get de-throned this year?
I'm hoping that Nicky Hayden will be the person to do it (fyi-I'm also a Rossi fan, but I like Hayden because he's an American, hehehe). I also liked Pedrosa too, but his time will come very soon.
I'm very curious to see what if Hayden was using the standard bike that Pedrosa is using. I wonder if he will be more competitive? I give Hayden props for leading the championship with an experimental bike (most parts of the bike is for the 2007 800cc bike).

Dude...In case you haven't noticed, there are like 3-4 people on this board that even care about Motogp. I for one have a motogp.com membership and will be watching the race live tonight at 1:00am. There's a dedicated thread on speedtv regarding the reasons a penalty was not levied against Rossi. In a nutshell, someone thought Rossi let Stoner get the spot back, which was not the case. IMO if Nicky had been the culprit, he'd have gotten docked at least a stop and go penalty. On a positive note, Nicky re-signed with Honda for another 2 years. I'm hoping Nicky can finish in the top 5 the last 3 races and win the title. The kids earned it this year with his consistency and 2 wins.
