in the past, Speed only covered 2nd Friday practice and recapped the first so first has come and gone. My Tivo sez 11 EST for the practice to begin-25 mins. and we'll know for sure.

awesome to see them back out on the track.
the MacLaren is by far the best looking car on the track. The Renault's look like an abomination IMO.
the Honda's don't look so good from the side, but wow they look great in the overhead shots!

^^you're still partial to Macca huh Astro? It does look good in every way, particularly how it handles. Ferrari appear to be on top, McLaren, Renault, BMW then the rest. Honda finished below Super Good Friends dammit! The Honda has some sort of aero gear ahead of the cockpit that reminds me of the old 70's cars, haven't quite figured it out yet.
And Steve, you're a wuss! I stayed up and I'm at work today Just like the other old guy (and I mean OLD) F-C. 98????

I'm at work, although 30 minutes late.
Super Aguri>Honda?!?!?
Williams>Toyota?!?!?
If this stays the same after qualifying, heads will roll.

What a terrible car Honda has produced this year. Hopefully the revised chassis will solve some of the problems.

Absolutely disappointing. During the end of the 2nd qualifying session, one F1 commentor said instead of spenting 300 millions building a new car which was even slower than last year's, why not just spent a couple hundreds buying lead weight to put into and use the old car. I almost laughed. I guess the poor qualifying result disppoints a lot of people.

Honda is supposed to have some new major aero bits coming for the next race. I hope so b/c watching the team lose one car in round one of quali and another in round 2 was embarassing.

Disgusting race. At least Barrichello finished in front of Sato.

What a different scene here, while the other Honda guys are celebrating their 1-2 win over at the Sebring camp.

I love the 1st place finish. Man, Hamilton appears to be a great driver. Hopefully he can keep it up. Ferrari appears to be pretty powerful this year(so far)

Just finished watching the replay on Speed and it looks like Kimi is gonna be flying this year. Also Hamilton looked great, does anybody else think something fishy went on during his last pitstop that allowed Alonso to pass? Can't have the champ losing out to a rookie!
And totaly off topic: did anyone else see the sign when Speed was wrapping up that read "Hey Kimi, where's the afterparty!"

did anybody else didn't really have any interest in the race? There was no drivers special enough to watch, no team, no nothing.
What made it fun with MS, was that you wanted to watch him fail. But he wouldn't and do something crazy. His personnality was the reason why I watched F1. Now's there is no more of that.

I watched to see MS WIN,...and now I watch hoping Kimi will WIN (of course there are lots of other reasons I watch). I also want to see Massa have a good season this year with a few victories.

I think Hamilton is being flattered a bit by his car (obviously) since it is the clear #2 this year behind Ferrari. Given a straight fight between Massa and Hamilton, Massa will come out on top IMO but we shall see. THere's no doubt Lewis is headed for greatness and will likely eclipse the other Brit on the grid's record of 1 win (Jense) in his maiden year.
