Got to meet Pedro De La Rosa after he gave an interview in the Mobil1 suite prior to the race. I went in to say hello to last year's host and there was Pedro in the midst of an interview. Said hello, shook his hand and got a couple pics. I'll post later. Little did I realize that was going to be THE highlight of the race.

Should have called me. I was shaking I was so upset at it all. Thankfully my Dad and I had a great time--I had some long unresolved issues w/ him I managed to clear up so in spite of all the other BS going on, we still had a phenomenal time.

 

it's nice to hear some good came out of it for you - especially on Father's Day.
