What determines a countries currency value?
Just curious like 15,000 vietnamese dollars = 1 US dollar. And i think i heard somewhere 100 euros = 140 us dollars or something. Just wondering what determines the value kthx bye

I feel the need...
Where things get interesting is when certain countries (read: China) peg their currency to another (read: USD).
You can have a country with central bank that controls the overnight lending rate, and a free floating currency - or vice versa, but you can't have both at the same time.
