Scam Alert!!!

didn't really know which topic to put this in, this sounded right though...


if any of you guys receive a pink envelope saying you can be entered to win a 21,000,000 dollar sweepstakes.... DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!

someone i know got scammed, they took 67.08 out of this persons banking account....


its a company in florida called NME or MNE or something like that. heres a link to the scam alert, (which i found AFTER the money was already taken) they've already scammed a bunch of people all over the US, including CA.

yeah, stupidity sounds right, little kids these days....

that person called her bank and told them to cancel her card, it didn't stop the payment from going through since it was already pending, but it would prevent them from ever accessing her account again, since they pull it directly. thank you BOA, they were very professional, and it didn't cost her anything.

where do u report something like this? my dad seems to get a lot and they dont even have a from address on it...
