overdrawn credit card account?!?!?!??

overdrawn credit card account?!?!?!??

i go into the bank today to put money into my checking account and the lady said there was a 140.00 overdrawn fee... supposedly i was short 70 something dollars and theres a 5.00 fee everyday you dont pay for it..... i only use my checking account to pay off my credit card and thats it... is there someone i can talk to about getting this figured out cuz i'm freaking out...

This is more of an issue with your checking account right? You chose the amount to pay off, correct? If you overdrew, then you overdrew. The only thing to do is not do it again and perhaps get overdraft protection.

but i didnt, i write one check a month i can handle keeping proper records, and i applied for overdraw protection so i dont know why i have the fees either

So how did your account get overdrawn? That means the CC took more than you authorized? Did they make a mistake and request more than you wrote the check for?

Find your cancelled check and compare that to what the CC took out to start.

Definately find all transactions on your checking account for the past 60 days and see what happened. Also add overdraft protection as Adam suggested. Try to make sure this doesn't happen often, or you'll get black listed and be unable to get a checking account.

i forgot my check book and didnt hae my account number and the lady at the counter accidentally wrote the wrong acount number so obviously the persons acount number they put my money in had a overdrafting fee.. all is good now

Fee's are usually refundable. Call customer service and tell them you were ignorant to the rules and regulations, etc.
