How is the recession effecting you?

like the title says.
I'll go first.
#1. Fuel is killing me. in my semi every week i put about 1500 bucks in the tank.
#2. It seems like since things(just stuff like at Target,Meijers,Wal-Mart,etc) is costing more. so either i have just enough to buy it or i buy less.
#3. I don't eat out dinner all that much. I'm on the road 4-5 days a week i eat dinner out maybe 2 times a lot. a lot comes out out a big ass cooler i pack when i leave. because fuel cost has gone up so much i gotta make cuts.(yes i have fuel surcharges to my customers)(but i'm trying to budget)
#4. I'm careful how much i spend. I know it sounds like I didn't care before. but I'd charge it wait for the credit card bill when we(the company that contracts for my semi loads) running like hell(6 sometimes 7 days a week) i knew I had the money due to the overtime.
feel free to comment and put in your 2 cents.

Im not sure if I would call this time in US history a recession. I work at Jeep Chrysler and we are struggling to do 70 Cars a month. Yes it is horrible. Buisness is slow but i doubt this is a recession.

Gas is a killer by the way

It's the typical garbage littering Chrysler dealer showrooms and lots that isn't bringing people in.

Obviously paying more at the pump and probably more for food. It hasn't really changed my spending habits or anything. I suppose I just save a little less than I might otherwise.

well in that case.

The recession is hurting me. Hitmen just cost so much then they used too. Before I could afford to pay someone and they would kill the person and hide their body. Than I could just afford to have them hide the body. Now I have to do all the work myself. Its really annoying.

not really affecting me other than the following..

gas is not too bad, i usually drive my g20 infiniti which gets 27mpg on 87 so i only spend 50 a week on gas. im just driving less to be honest, sitting around my house playing video games instead of going out lol.

food is definately hurting. last year my typical Safeway bills where 30-40 a visit. now they are easily topping 60-70, for the same basic things like milk, bread, cheese, etc.

im not struggling my any means, but i definately am cutting back on luxurious spending right now. no more going to the range to shoot (ammo is 16 a box!)...no more eating out at resturants (i got burned for 60 at a italian joint last week for like 3 plates of pasta)...no more credit card shopping online either.
