I have heard 30 and 45 days, which one is it? especially if you bought a car or took out a loan......

 

I was wondering this also because I was denied a student loan because I had too much debt. So I cleared the debt and was wondering how long I should wait before I reapply.

 

Typical turn around is about 30-60 days but it also depends on the creditor. If you call the credit card companies that you paid off and ask them to report to the credit bureaus, the turn around might be quicker.
