Really bummed the Atlantic Coast pipeline project got canceled. The government needs to want new infrastructure to be built like this not do everything in its power to get in the way and block it.

 

That's transmission and storage not extracting/fracking. That makes more sense than buying a fracking company

One of my best friend's son worked ~2 years as a geologist (UT) in the Permian Basin in West Texas.
Only spoke to him briefly about it last year while visiting his parents in Austin.
He told me then about some of the test wells they were drilling there and the frantic stress to find as many "successful" test wells as possible whether or not they produced much.
