I am just about to reach my 3 month mark, but I don't plan on increasing it unless i have a more expensive lifestyle. Reason being I have major student loans so I'm working to pay that off quickly. Even with this quick payoff I'm going for its going to be at least 5 years. I changed up my finances to go even quicker.

Right now I have just under 30% of my income going towards that. I just made it that if I'm able to save more than 20% savings for the month, I'll put that towards the loans. All credit card reward points will go toward the loans as well.

I just don't want to be 30 and have student loans. If I have a car and mortgage I'll be fine with that because my interest rate will probably be about half of what they are now.
