Free checking w/ bonus dollars

Are there any banks out there still offering a checking account where if you're a new customer, after a certain timeframe they're offering a bonus into your account, like $50 or so? Just curious, I was thinking about taking this approach to make a few extra free bucks, but with the economy the way it is it might not be around much anymore.

I just started a Chase account, got a $125 sign up bonus.
Requirements are you have to open with minimum $100 deposit and maintain at least $25 in checking for 6 months. Monthly fee is waived if you have a direct deposit setup or make 5 purchases with debit card a month.

On top of this, if you sign up online, which i did, i signed up for a Citi cashreturns cc which offered 5% unlimited cashback for 3 months; from this i put $2000 each, which is the limit of initial funding from a credit card, into the checking and savings account and it goes on the cc as a purchase and gets the rewards. Citi card sends $50 checks each time your rewards balance accumulates.

From this little method I get $200 from citi cards and $125 from chase, not a bad deal for clickin the mouse a few times....
now im trying to consolidate all my citi credit lines onto my cashreturns card and open a citibank money market acnt which is offering a promotion if you initially deposit 25k that gives you 40,000 thank you points or two free round trip tickets up to $400 each valued free. On top of that I can still fund it as a purchase for 25k on my citi card and get 5% on the 25k and get interest on the balance, since the cashreturns offers 0% interest for one year.

I went to deposit some checks this morning.....they were offering me $50 to open a checking account....no strings attached. No fees, no limitations....

You can try that?
