I've been with CESI for a little over 2 years. Consolidated 3 credit cards. I'm ready now to pay them all off in full but have a question. Do I pay them off through the debt mgmt people or pay them off directly through the creditors. I called CESI this morning and they gave this whole speech about if I paid it off through them then on my credit history it will say letter of completing. They told me that if I was to pay each individual creditor and and cancel with CESI then it would reflect in a negative way on my credit history and say letter of cancellation or some crap like that. Is what they're telling me true or are they just trying to make their last cent that can? Any help will be much appreciated....Trying to raise credit score
