So it's understandable why so many in the media dismissed LeBron James last year when the basketball wunderkind said one of his main goals was to become the world's richest person. Sure, LeBron, whatever you say, was the common reaction.
LeBron makes gobs of money. C'mon, though, not even the Cleveland Cavaliers and Nike pay him THAT much.
Then word got out that LeBron, who in July signed an $80 million contract extension with the National Basketball Association's Cavaliers, and who has some $150 million in endorsement contracts, last month flew to Nebraska for a lunch with billionaire investor Warren Buffett.
