Hey since I am a newbie what events take place on the acurazine Sunday meet? I am thinking about showing up but was wondering if it was worth my time.

I remember going for the first time I did not know what to expect. But I ha a blast. You get to make new friends and you find a lot of ACURA freaks like you. I could not make it last year. I am glad to be going again this year.

Why your comment? Chicago crew enjoys road trips, and if you can't keep up that's on you. But we welcome all local states to meet up with us.... Fun times. Can't wait

Personally, it's an event that happens once a year and pulls people in from many different states. If your an Acura fan, or just a plain car enthusiast....then I think it's a no-brainer to be "worth your time." Unless you have a hot date with a supermodel or it's the last day to cash in your million dollar lottery ticket...Sign up!

Chip, as you can see, we always have a great time! Since it's the entire weekend now, I urge you to join us for all 3 days! It's a great way to make new friends. I have to tell you-all these guys rock! It's an honor to call all of them my friends!

 

We are leaving on Friday this year. So far another guy from the Twin Cities Jake and my self. I think Travis is leaving on Thursday he wants to go to a Twins ball game. Hoping to leave I the morning.

 

leaving friday early is up to my team... But i think we will keep it the same as last year... if anything we might stay Sunday... but thats still up in the air...

 

Would love to come down for the meet but wont have the time.

 

I'll be tagging along with 05AcTL (Carlos).. probably not going to bring my TL as I simply lost interest in modding it after a new tranny.

 

You know the funny thing is that it just so happens that yes my supermodel wife is in town and I do have that ticket to turn in. JJK, yeah I love Acura and spent many days up at Stevens dealership looking at the TL's. There is no doubt that I would have a great time, and most likely, learn a ton too.

Chip I think you may be confused, Steven is not affiliated with the dealership. He just has a good rapport with them from being a customer and an all around awesome dude.

I do not work for Jay Wolfe Acura. I purchased my Type S from the dealership and have it serviced at Jay Wolfe.


But.....as Matt said, I am an all-round awesome dude!

I just wanted to warn people. Last year on the drive home your convoy was driving over 100 weaving in and out of cars. Multiple motorists called the police and your convoy was pulled over. On top of that one of the cars you brought only had 2 lug nuts on one of the wheels, and those 2 lugs weren't even fully seated because of modifications owner did so the wheel came off driving on the highway.

It has nothing to do with me not being able to keep up. I can go to autox and track events for that. I am not a teenager anymore and don't behave like that.

 

is there going to be a swap meet by chance or any vendors selling?

 

No swap meet, but we are recruiting vendors to have tents/booths there the day of the meet.

 

How many attendees are on the list so far Steven?

and for your info. let me correct you, my guy had all 5 lugs on his car driving to kansas and all 5 lugs leaving kansas. the studs snapped and thats why the wheel came off...

you dont wanna cruise with us no problem, have a safe drive down to kansas driving solo.

guys everyone is an adult and knows what to do....I myself, try to stay safe (all 5 lugs) but I do believe in having some fun....so my point being, lets all try to be SAFE and people who want to have fun always risk getting a ticket....so lets take the bickering out and be adults about it

 

My Chicago crew that roles with me don't bicker. Brian has always been the lone wolf. So he can stay lonely. we will continue to have fun and we will be up there this year again. Can't wait. Those that wanna tag along, tag along at your own risk. N stop bitching.

Yea, I wasn't joking. Its half the distance compared to KC. I just don't have it in me to drive the FR-S for that long again. It hurt.
