I have a porter cable buffer if you need one.

I might take you on that Buda; waiting on this rain to stop so that I can clean the car and figure out how much damage it is.

Prep work is almost done, just have to bag the wheels. The main show should be happening tonight. Just have to make sure I have everything to operate the gun properly. Anyone coming over?

LOL, only the black, blue, and glossifier are for my car. The Green is for Heath's car, Orange for Curtis's, and the brown is for misc stuff. They came in the same shipment so I already had them sitting out. I have a lot more cans of dip that what is there.

Camo Brown. I'm actually going to use it on a gutter drain splash plate that is lying in my landscaping (which has brown rubber mulch in it).

I'm actually really liking it. The condition of my paint with all the paint chips up front really had me down. This is making everything look so smooth and clean. I might even consider staying Matte Black instead of putting on gloss.

Sean and whoever else, I saw at Walmart last night (the one close to me) sells Black/White/Glossifier for $6.97. Black is cheaper at HD by a buck or so, and the only other place I've see white is at Ace/westlake for like 9 bucks. It's the first place where I've seen Glossifier however and you don't have to pay DYC's outrageous shipping fees and wait for 2 weeks to get it.

Will the car run with different cams...? I'd be careful and possibly get the electronics squared away before pushing the car with an improper tune... All of that extra "flow" could lean it out and then, kaboom? Just my thoughts.

And how are you going to use RDX injectors without some kind of ecu flash? Changing injector size pretty much requires this, as 440 is a far cry from the 240 stock injectors that I used to run.

^^^ MS3 that I mentioned in the above post is an ECU (Mega Squirt 3)....I am using that for tuning....you can specify the injector size and it manages the duty cycle...

Yeah, Kansas City seriously evaded all the severe weather. The surrounding states weren't so lucky.

So update on that 6MT TL:

My brother regretted selling the GS-R, so I gave it back it to him. Literally two days later after, a bone stock 6MT arose on Craigslist. A few phone calls and 400 miles later, I bought an all original, one owner '06 TL. The seller was very cool and seemed to truly love this car.

She just needed a thorough deep cleaning. The amount of dog hair in this car was astounding. The hair was literally in every conceivable nook and cranny.

I would like to do that, but I probably would not have time till like maybe fri night after work to clean my car and headlights. BTW, there is a chance of thunderstorm on Sunday, is there a backup plan or are we still meeting at the Jaywolf?

No backup plan that I'm aware of, I think it is a rain or shine event. It is too early to see what the weather will bring. The last 2 years we have had nice (but hot) weather for the Meet so hopefully we can make it 3

Matt, do you think your TL will remain clean till this weekend? I know you don't drive that car anyway but there is still dust in your garage that can accumulate on it!

Actually my car is dirty as hell right now I cleaned it before FF and drove it through some puddles and crap. Then I had to take it to work yesterday cuz I had a flat on the Vic I'm sure I'll clean it numerous times this coming weekend.

The meet goes on-rain or shine.

The forecast is for rain late Sunday evening-not in the afternoon.

Matt, yeah, definitely going to make an appearance at the meet!

I have a porter cable adjustable speed buffer with pads and compounds. I've buffed headlights out before. Where are you located shoeface? I may not be able to do it this week, but I'd happy to do it some other time.
