I honestly baby my car. Sometimes on onramps I get on it a bit. Don't hate me, but I have never hit 100mph with this car.
Would like to auto x in Independence this year though, not saying that I would hit near 100mph, but would like to learn more about the car and what it might be capable of. Get your car going and get others on this site to go as well. By then I'll have 0 posts still ;-)

Yeah Robbie, Check out Car talk forum. Lots of cool threads hardly anything about acuras. Im sure there is even an "unofficial" EVO thread that you can whore your car in.
Why don't we all meet up this weekend? I'd like to see this guys car you all have been talking about, and get some pics of everyones cars! Especially Matt's...that thing looks amazing I couldn't get enough of it at KC Trends. And it would be nice to get some sweet group shots of the cars. TL CL TL shot would be awesome...assuming Anil brings his out!

Guys, I leave for a trade show on Sunday. I'll be back next Friday, so I'm out of the loop for this weekend.
But, Anil-my new tail lights are due to arrive tomorrow! We'll have to have an install party at my house on April 22nd (Sunday).

Guess what came in today?

Anil and I are getting together at my house on Sunday, April 22nd. We are installing these tails, change brake pads and paint calipers. Free beer and pizza for everyone that comes to help!

Red calipers I assume? Did you get the G2 kit? We have them in stock at my work I think like $35 plus tax, but no shipping. Let me know and I can get you one and you can pay me when I deliver on the 22nd or before if you want to come pick it up.

^^^ What is the G2 kit? Swoosh and I went up to Advance Auto and bought hi intensity caliper paint and pads for the Brembos.
And yes, we're going with red!
I figured we'd probably start around 11:30 or 12 noon.

Steve those look good man. They look a hell of a lot better than mine came out. Did Bruce do yours? I am getting ones similar to that from USR for the interim while I am trying to correct all the problems I have with mine.
Here is something I thought of that I dont think anybody has done before is make the whole bezel carbon fiber, like taking it to get hydro-dipped and then everything else clear. What do you guys think? I know my lady is not gonna be happy when she hears my plans for those LOL.

brake job takes about 1 hour all 4 side
painting calipers another hour
tails around 2 hours (thanks acura
)
I used it on my SVT and it was great, never chipped or flaked and looked great with an occasional wash when I was washing my wheels.
It is a 3 piece kit and includes a brake cleaner to prep with, the paint and a hardener you mix with the paint. Once ou mix teh 2 components, you have roughly 4-6 hours to get it on, then it hardens to they say a hockey puck. And it is true.
I'm going to do mine when I do new pads and rotors later this year. Probably with the black G2. Only downside is you can't drive your car for 24 hours once it is applied so it hardens properly.

Daniel....yeah the reason i said 2 was after the brake job you will have grease hands....so you will have to make sure you dont put grease on steven's bumper....plus another thing is i do not think steven has removed his rear bumper for the past 4-5 years (car is 5 years old)....so hoping the bitch clips and the bolts are not rusted....
dont wanna tell him hey its gonna take 30 minutes and not be able to do it
plus am not charging him....so if it takes 1 hour or 3, all is good.....

It really just depends on the car. Gotta find time from work/school this week to look at the car and see if I can't figure out the misfire.

Hopefully I can figure it out before Friday.
