Was at downtown KC for the zelda concert and saw a lowered, matte purple TL-S driving around looking for parking. Nice car bruh...if you're ever on here...
Anyway, it's almost June again, I'm guessing another big meet is in the works at Jay Wolfe? (I was at work all day last year so couldn't make it....this year will try to do so...)
And I'm thinking by that time at least one KC rich dude would bring the new NSX.....
And unfortunately, the powers that be decided there will be no National meet at Jay Wolfe this year. Going to take a year off and re-group next year if there is the interest.

However we can still try to get something smaller together if people want. The Nuts and Bolts and College and Antioch talked to me and wants to do a car meet in their parking lot. They would give us some rows of parking and they might even grill up some food for us if timing is right.

Looks like the community is pretty close. I'm fairly hermetic/lazy for the most part but I was able to meet up with Anil (super awesome/nice guy) who helped with some maintenance stuff at his place (and got to peek at Steven's C7!) so that was awesome.
I'll be holding off on mods until I get into a better place financially. Also the pain on my car is totally shot to crap...so might as well wait until I can really put in some good money for a paint job and a total makeover few years down the road.
But man that sucks about the no Acura meet this year. It's been basically annual thing...think I went in 2010 or something like that before I got the TL...was a very nice time. Too bad its the NSX year as well.
Oh also you're on KCSR as well right? I remember seeing a Longhorn fan on KCSR who also owned a WDP TL-S?

My car will be far away in the spectator section as it is nothing to look at
Lots of very nice TLs and lots of great inspiration/ideas but the amount of money to do a nice/proper paint (my car's paintjob is complete shait)/wheels/lowering/etc. would be a bit out of my budget...maybe someday.
I'd think a ballpark budget for a nice/proper re-paint and the other nice mods (suspension, wheels, a-spec, TL-S tail, tint, LEDs, headlight, etc.)would probably be at least 5-6k+.....I'll likely wait a bit until I dive
You should see what my front bumper looks like under the dip. Our cars are old and unless it's not a daily most are going to show the wear and tear. I'm going to be peeling mine and going back to paint this year though as I need to have some touch up done on the front and rear bumpers.
Hey Guys. I am sorry to hear that there is no national meet this year. Do you KC folks have anything in the works for a casual get together on some weekend this summer. Such as a dinner, cruise, mini-show. Just wondering.
There is a meet at Mungenast Acura / Lexus in June, in Saint Louis. It's not Acura specific but last year they had a big turnout. Maybe we could do that as a substitute?
Holy shit! Michael! Where have you been? You living in KC again? I'm still on here but not very much at all. Anil could be even less. Work and fatherhood has taken him out of the scene. I wasn't really part of the KC scene so to speak but when I started posting more actively (right after getting my 06 TL)about like 2 years ago Anil responded and actually helped me with getting lot of maintenance items done at his place. His TL was definitely bad ass and you can tell he put ALOT of time/work into it...loud af. Later he was looking to revert back to stop and I was contemplating buying some of his parts but decided against it in the end. He had a young family and work was getting busier as well so I guess those are legit reasons.
Well I think i have his # I will try to call him> I am still in touch with Buda through FB. the last KC meet I was Second best in the show Anil won that one but not by much.
