I have seen a TON of 3g TLs lately around the north side or near where I live downtown. I'm surprised there aren't more people from the area on these forums.

 

Where at in Sun Prairie and what kind of car?

I don't think I've ever seen yours. I always see a Silver 3rd gen TL Type S and a 2nd gen TL near Linnerud and S Walker way. I live at the Cannery Square apartments across from Day One Pizza and The Cannery Grill.

 

Yeah I'm always all over town. I'm right across from the quicktrip. I've only seen a white one and another black one on town. I know the guy with the black 05 tl tho. I've never seen yours either.

 

I'm always at work so mine is always parked outside NAPA. Its distinct feature is the missing drivers side rear door handle cover.

Probably not. We just bought the TL last Saturday. I rarely see 4th gen. TL's in Green Bay. Mine is White Diamond Pearl.

 

Ok not the one i think it was. If you see another wdp with black wheels thats me. Not alot of 4th gen in gb i agree

Anyone meeting anytime soon?? Ordering a bunch of shit this coming up week and I will probably install it by next weekend assuming it all arrives quickly. I'd be down for something probably by the second week of August.

I'm located by madison, just picked up my TL last week. Been in the honda game for 8 years, eg/dc/ek til now. Quite a few people in the area. How's everyone's ride? I don't see many modded TLs around here.

Yeah It took a while to find a 6spd one most of the ones I seen had crazy mileage on them

 

I'm looking to tint the windows on my Tl anyone know any shop that experienced doing Tls due to the window scratching problem

 

I've had my tint stripped by police on occasion with my TL and have had Ziebart redo it every time, however, the last time they didn't cover the entire rear quarter windows - the rear quarter windows on the TL have a small stripping that you have to get underneath to tint the entire window surface. This is what it looks like - you can see the small curved line going around the edge of the window where there is no tint:

 

Don't look that bad did ziebart installed any moleskin to prevent from scratching and around how much was it?...I contacted a shop and they were changing me almost $300 which I thought it was really expensive

 

i paid 280 for a higher-end tint that they will do lifetime replacement on if it scratches.

That said, Ziebart has been tinting my cars for nearly 15 years now and I've never had any issues with scratches or bubbling or discoloration.

edit: i've had other decent tint jobs from them for 170 bucks for lower-end tint, as well, when i was younger. You probably wouldn't have issues. I got another buddy with an '04 TL who had them tint his ride for 170 or something and it looks good 2 years later.

ahhh yes. Yea I sold the S to a guy in Illinois and sold my 06 civic DD as well (didn't enjoy 2 doors with a baby).

Got the TL-S for a daily and now am waiting to find a MKIV TT supra, gt-r or something interesting with a backseat if need be
